Ars TechnicaSources tell Ars that HD DVD's official demise will be announced in the coming days, and not in a few weeks as originally planned. While the HD DVD camp was already facing a grim future, recent developments have put Toshiba in a "kill it quick" mood. Can't say we blame them.
