Design & build your own web themes
Only a few years ago the only way of putting your own website online was to employ the services of a professional web designer or learning how to do this yourself. It was easy when you only had to learn HTML, but as soon as dynamic code became the norm, it was back to paying a professional web design team. There was no way you could produce a professionally designed site - that competed with your rivals - yourself. In the last year or so, there have been a number of tools that ship with pre-designed themes that will enable you to quickly select a theme, populate with text and your own images and then upload to your homepage. Within minutes you could upload a site that looks like you've paid a graphic designer to work on your theme. The only problem was, there are only a finite number of shipped themes, so it becomes obvious when you produce a site from one of these tools. Unless you can make extensive changes to the supplied themes, others may quickly realised you've skimped on the site design. Vision is a theme designer for the Shopify e-commerce site, which enables you to put your own store, online. With Vision, you can make your own themes or take a theme for inspiration and make your own changes. You can even share the themes you create with other users. Indeed, if you produced anything professional, you could even sell these themes if they were in demand.
